198. We who
are healthy live
happily midst the unhealthy, among unhealthy humans from ill-health dwell we free. |
198. Vui thay, chuùng ta
soáng,
Khoâng beänh giöõa oám ñau! Giöõa nhöõng ngöôøi beänh hoaïn, Ta soáng, khoâng oám ñau. |
199. We the
unfrenzied live
happily midst the frenzied, among the frenzied humans from frenzy dwell we free. |
199. Vui thay, chuùng ta
soáng,
Khoâng roän giöõa roän raøng; Giöõa nhöõng ngöôøi roän raøng, Ta soáng, khoâng roän raøng. |
200. We for
whom there's nought
live indeed so happily, joy-sustained we'll be like resplendent gods. |

201. Victory
gives rise to hate,
those defeated lie in pain, happily rest the Peaceful surrendering victory-defeat. |

Thaát baïi chòu khoå ñau, Soáng tòch tònh an laïc. Boû sau moïi thaéng baïi. |
202. There's
no fire like lust,
no evil like aversion, no dukkha like the aggregates, no higher bliss than Peace. |

203. Hunger
is the greatest ill,
the greatest dukkha - conditionedness, knowing this reality at it is: Nibbana bliss supreme. |

Caùc haønh, khoå toái thöôïng, Hieåu nhö thöïc laø vaäy, Nieát baøn, laïc toái thöôïng. |
204. Health's
the greatest gain,
contentment, best of wealth, trusting's best of kin, Nibbana bliss supreme. |

toái thöôïng,
Bieát ñuû, tieàn toái thöôïng. Thaønh tín ñoái vôùi nhau, Laø baø con toái thöôïng, Nieát baøn, laïc toái thöôïng. |
205. Having
drunk of solitude
and tasted Peace Sublime, free from sorrow, evil-free, one drinks of Dhamma's joy. |

Ñöôïc höôûng vò nhaøn tònh, Khoâng sôï haõi, khoâng aùc, Neám ñöôïc vò phaùp hyû. |
206. So fair's
the sight of Noble Ones,
ever good their company, by relating not to fools ever happy one may be. |
206. Laønh thay, thaáy thaùnh
nhaân,
Soáng chung thöôøng höôûng laïc. Khoâng thaáy nhöõng ngöôøi ngu, Thöôøng thöôøng ñöôïc an laïc. |
207. Who moves
among fool's company
must truly grieve for long, for ill the company of fools as ever that of foes, but weal's a wise one's company as meeting of one's folk. |
207. Soáng chung vôùi ngöôøi
ngu,
Laâu daøi bò lo buoàn. Khoå thay gaàn ngöôøi ngu, Nhö thöôøng soáng keû thuø. Vui thay, gaàn ngöôøi trí, Nhö chung soáng baø con. |
208. Thus go
with the steadfast, wise, well-versed,
firm of virtue, practice-pure, Ennobled "Such", who's sound, sincere, as moon in wake of the Milky Way. |

Baäc hieàn só, trí tueä Baäc nghe nhieàu, trì giôùi, Baäc töï cheá, Thaùnh nhaân; Haõy gaàn guõi, thaân caän Thieän nhaân, trí giaû aáy, Nhö traêng theo ñöôøng sao. |
